Under the terms of Laws 2644 and 5444
concerning the Land Registry, which came into force on 12 December
2005 and were published on 7 January 2006 in the Official Gazette
(no. 26 046), the buying and selling of real estate by foreigners
is authorised by article 35 (see the version of the General Directorate
of the Land Registry www.tkgm.gov.tr
