Why? Multiples opportunities

Attractive prices

There are only two countries on the Mediterranean rim that have applied to join the European Union: Croatia and Turkey. Property prices are far below those in Europe, but of these two countries, prices in Turkey are 30% to 40% lower.

A privileged destination

The world is ageing and Europe is one of the continents leading this demographic trend. Between now and 2020, 45% of Europeans will be retired. Turkey will then be one of the privileged destinations for spending a large part of the year.

  Lower cost of living

Life in Turkey is 60% less expensive than the average in European countries. For a retired person with a fixed income, this means 60% more purchasing power in Turkey.

  Quality care

The quality of private doctors and hospitals is equivalent to their European counterparts but the prices charged are 40% lower. In addition, reimbursement is made easy by the existence agreements between insurance organisations.

  Exceptionally clement weather

Around the Aegean/Mediterranean coast, the average winter temperature is 18°C compared with 28°C for the rest of the year. The average annual sunshine is 295 days.

  Easy access

More than half of the 33 airports offer international links. Three airports are under construction. Note that Istanbul is one of the EasyJet destinations from Geneva and London.

  A multilingual country

A large part of the population understands English, German and French, and these languages are spoken by most of the liberal professions.
